When Margaret Ann Ashby was born on 22 January 1903, her father, William Erwin Ashby, was 41 and her mother, Sallie G Morris, was 23. She married Joseph Clifford Young in 1918, in McGehee, Desha, Arkansas, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. She lived in Memphis, Shelby, Tennessee, United States in 1930 and Independence Township, Lee, Arkansas, United States in 1940. She died on 17 November 1994, at the age of 91.
