When Eusenerino Nonato de Melo was born in 1896, in Sobral, Ceará, Brazil, his father, Raimundo Nonato de Melo, was 25 and his mother, Maria Rosa do Espírito Santo, was 25. He married Raimunda Jorge de Sousa on 7 February 1936, in Sobral, Ceará, Brazil. He died in 1996, in his hometown, at the age of 100.
