Ricardo Cortes Hernandez was born on 31 December 1910, in Tepatepec, Francisco I. Madero, Hidalgo, Mexico as the son of LEONARDO CORTES LOMBARDO and Crispina Hernandez Morales. He married Eufrocina Perez Trejo on 12 September 1940, in Tepatepec, Francisco I. Madero, Hidalgo, Mexico. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. He died on 11 April 1981, in his hometown, at the age of 70.

Rebellion spreads throughout Mexico. After attack on Ciudad Juárez, Díaz resigns. Madero returns in triumph to Mexico City and is elected to presidency. Emiliano Zapata publishes Plan of Ayala demanding quick reforms.

1912
