When Izaura Ruas Amantino was born on 29 July 1910, in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, her father, Francisco De Oliveira Xavier, was 30 and her mother, Bernardina Ruas Amantino, was 25. She married Adelino Kurtz on 16 June 1928, in Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She died on 25 August 1990, in her hometown, at the age of 80.
