She married Peter O Petersen on 14 February 1876, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 6 daughters. She immigrated to Utah, United States in 1863 and lived in Safford, Graham, Arizona, United States in 1900 and Graham, Arizona, United States in 1910. She died on 22 May 1938, in Thatcher, Graham, Arizona, United States, at the age of 81, and was buried in Kimball, Graham, Arizona, United States.

1881 · The Assassination of James Garfield

Garfield was shot twice by Charles J. Guitea at Railroad Station in Washington, D.C. on July 2, 1881. After eleven weeks of intensive and other care Garfield died in Elberon, New Jersey, the second of four presidents to be assassinated, following Abraham Lincoln.
