He married Fae Goetzman on 19 November 1941, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States. He immigrated to World in 1940 and lived in Orem, Utah, Utah, United States in 1950 and Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, United States in 1963. He registered for military service in 1941. He died on 18 June 1980, in Beaverton, Washington, Oregon, United States, at the age of 66, and was buried in Finley-Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Portland, Washington, Oregon, United States.
