He married Nellie Isabell Dayley on 31 December 1908, in Basin, Cassia, Idaho, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Alberta, Northwest Territories, Canada in 1901 and United States in 1949. He died on 16 December 1976, in Moses Lake, Grant, Washington, United States, at the age of 92, and was buried in Moses Lake, Grant, Washington, United States.

1889 · Washington Becomes a State

On November 11, 1889, Washington Territory became Washington State the 42nd state to enter the Union. The state was named in honor of George Washington.

1908 · The Bureau of Investigation is formed

Known as the National Bureau of Criminal Identification, The Bureau of Investigation helped agencies across the country identify different criminals. President Roosevelt instructed that there be an autonomous investigative service that would report only to the Attorney General.

History: This name was brought independently to North America from England by numerous different bearers from the 17th century onward. John Chapmen (sic) was one of the free planters who assented to the ‘Fundamental Agreement’ of the New Haven Colony on June 4, 1639.
