1907 · Nebo Stake Tabernacle Is Dedicated

The Nebo Stake Tabernacle was dedicated in November 1907 by President Joseph F. Smith. The Nebo Stake Tabernacle replaced the Payson Tabernacle which burned in 1904. The building had a beautiful arched interior ceiling and light flooded the room through its many windows.
1919 · The Eighteenth Amendment

The Eighteenth Amendment established a prohibition on all intoxicating liquors in the United States. As a result of the Amendment, the Prohibition made way for bootlegging and speakeasies becoming popular in many areas. The Eighteenth Amendment was then repealed by the Twenty-first Amendment.
