She married Jens Pedersen Aagaard on 25 October 1828, in Sporup, Skanderborg, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. She immigrated to Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1860 and lived in Sporup, Gjern, Skanderborg, Denmark for about 26 years. She died on 12 August 1879, in Fountain Green, Sanpete, Utah, United States, at the age of 70, and was buried in Fountain Green, Sanpete, Utah, United States.

In 1815, the Manchester Dock in Liverpool was constructed by John Foster Sr. It was an important gateway for coal and manufactured goods mainly corn and cotton. It closed in 1929.
