When Hannah Thompson Bemis was born on 13 July 1824, in Ellisburg, Jefferson, New York, United States, her father, Levi Baldwin Bemis, was 26 and her mother, Mary "Polly" Thompson, was 24. She married Joseph Franklin Tracy on 20 October 1842, in Auburn Township, Geauga, Ohio, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 4 daughters. She immigrated to Utah, United States in 1852 and lived in Lake, Wood, Ohio, United States in 1880 and Comstock, Douglas, Oregon, United States in 1900. She died on 30 November 1912, in Drain Election Precinct, Douglas, Oregon, United States, at the age of 88.
