He lived in Salt Lake, Utah, United States for about 10 years and Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1930. He died on 20 July 1939, in Monterey, Monterey, California, United States, at the age of 72, and was buried in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Millcreek, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.
