He immigrated to Pottawattamie, Iowa, United States in 1852 and lived in Pottawattamie, Iowa, United States in 1850 and Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah, United States in 1870. He died on 22 April 1902, in Provo, Utah, Utah, United States, at the age of 79, and was buried in Spanish Fork City Cemetery, Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah, United States.
