He lived in Manti, Sanpete, Utah, United States for about 70 years. He registered for military service in 1917. He died on 1 October 1922, in Intermountain LDS Hospital, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 79, and was buried in Manti Cemetery, Manti, Sanpete, Utah, United States.
