When Jeppa Olsson was born on 16 April 1792, in Lund, Malmöhus, Sweden, his father, Ola Andersson, was 37 and his mother, Elna Andersdotter, was 33. He married Botilla Pramberg on 18 November 1815, in Lund, Malmöhus, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. He died in 1863, in Tooele, Tooele, Utah, United States, at the age of 71.
