She married Jens Peder Nielsen Rase on 10 July 1840, in Torkilstrup, Nykøbing, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. She immigrated to New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana, United States in 1855 and lived in Torkilstrup, Falsters Nørre, Maribo, Denmark in 1850 and Virgin, Kane, Utah, United States for about 10 years. She died on 21 April 1893, at the age of 79, and was buried in Virgin, Washington, Utah, United States.
