She lived in Idaho Falls, Bonneville, Idaho, United States in 1900 and Harrisville, Weber, Utah, United States in 1910. She died on 15 November 1922, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 56, and was buried in Ogden City Cemetery, Ogden, Weber, Utah, United States.

1867 · Sorry Mr. President, You can't do that.

This Act was to restrict the power of the President removing certain office holders without approval of the Senate. It denies the President the power to remove any executive officer who had been appointed by the president with the advice and consent of the Senate, unless the Senate approved the removal during the next full session of Congress. The Amendment was later repealed.

1868 · Impeach the President!

Caused by many crimes and breaking the Tenure of Office Act, Many Senators and House Representatives became angry with President Johnson and began discussions of his Impeachment. After a special session of Congress, the Articles of Impeachment were approved by the House and then the Senate. Making Andrew Johnson the first President to be Impeached.

1881 · The Assassination of James Garfield

Garfield was shot twice by Charles J. Guitea at Railroad Station in Washington, D.C. on July 2, 1881. After eleven weeks of intensive and other care Garfield died in Elberon, New Jersey, the second of four presidents to be assassinated, following Abraham Lincoln.
