He lived in Cuba, Cuba, Allegany, New York, United States in 1850 and New York, United States for about 5 years. He died on 14 July 1876, in Friendship, Friendship, Allegany, New York, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship, Friendship, Allegany, New York, United States.
