When David Harden Allred was born on 26 August 1825, in Farmington, Marshall, Tennessee, United States, his father, William Allred Jr, was 35 and his mother, Sarah Ann Sally Warren, was 30. He married Elizabeth Aurora Brown on 14 September 1848, in Pike, Illinois, United States. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Franklin Township, Fremont, Iowa, United States in 1860 and Utah, United States in 1870. He registered for military service in 1865. He died on 23 August 1908, in Spring City, Sanpete, Utah, United States, at the age of 82, and was buried in Spring City Cemetery, Spring City, Sanpete, Utah, United States.
