When Ane Andersen was born on 18 October 1823, in Flensted, Ry, Århus, Denmark, her father, Anders Knudsen, was 45 and her mother, Else Jacobsdatter, was 11820. She married Peter Olsen on 10 July 1847, in Låsby, Skanderborg, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 1 son. She immigrated to Utah, United States in 1857 and lived in Mantua, Box Elder, Utah, United States in 1870 and Moroni, Sanpete, Utah, United States for about 30 years. She died on 4 March 1914, at the age of 90, and was buried in Moroni, Sanpete, Utah, United States.

1825 · The Crimes Act

The Crimes Act was made to provide a clearer punishment of certain crimes against the United States. Part of it includes: Changing the maximum sentence of imprisonment to be increased from seven to ten years and changing the maximum fine from $5,000 to $10,000.

1829 · Oldest Leather Goods in Denmark

Kuffert Sorensen was established in 1829 by Carl Peter Sorensen as a leather goods company. Today the business has five locations and each are run by a member of the Sorensen family.

1847 · Casino Theatre (Copenhagen)

The Casino Theatre was built as an entertainment center by Georg Carstensen but was converted into a theatre in 1848. After many years of never gaining popularity, it was closed in 1937 and demolished in 1960.
