He lived in Sövestad, Malmöhus, Sweden in 1886 and Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1920. He died on 22 May 1943, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 87, and was buried in Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.
