He married Ane Hannah Johanne Hansen on 22 October 1852, in Birkerød, Lynge-Kronborg, Frederiksborg, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. He immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States in 1957 and lived in København, Denmark for about 25 years and Cache, Utah, United States in 1860. In 1857, at the age of 28, his occupation is listed as farmer. He died on 5 April 1902, in Hyrum, Cache, Utah, United States, at the age of 73, and was buried in Hyrum City Cemetery, Hyrum, Cache, Utah, United States.

1830 · The Second Great Awakening

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations. Many people began to rapidly join the Baptist and Methodist congregations. Many converts to these religions believed that the Awakening was the precursor of a new millennial age.

1847 · Casino Theatre (Copenhagen)

The Casino Theatre was built as an entertainment center by Georg Carstensen but was converted into a theatre in 1848. After many years of never gaining popularity, it was closed in 1937 and demolished in 1960.
