Brief Life History of Johannes

When Johannes Johansson was born on 22 June 1819, in Hjo, Skaraborg, Sweden, his father, Johannes Jonsson, was 23 and his mother, Sara Johansdotter Essgren, was 31. He married Bretta Eliza Jonasson on 27 August 1843, in Mofalla, Skaraborg, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 1 daughter. He immigrated to Utah, United States in 1857 and lived in Grantsville, Tooele, Utah, United States in 1870. He died on 3 September 1916, in Huntsville, Weber, Utah, United States, at the age of 97, and was buried in Huntsville Cemetery, Huntsville, Weber, Utah, United States.
