He immigrated to Utah, United States in 1857 and lived in Grantsville, Tooele, Utah, United States in 1870. He died on 3 September 1916, in Huntsville, Weber, Utah, United States, at the age of 97, and was buried in Huntsville Cemetery, Huntsville, Weber, Utah, United States.
