He lived in Payson, Utah, Utah, United States for about 10 years and Brigham City, Apache, Arizona, United States in 1880. He registered for military service in 1846. He died on 28 April 1916, in Colonia Juárez, Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico, at the age of 87, and was buried in Colonia Juárez, Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico.
