In 1864, at the age of 48, his occupation is listed as store keeper, 1st bishop of minersville, ut in 1859; 1867 elected to the territorial legislature, and postmaster of minersville. also founder of the town of san bernardino, ca, 1851-1857. teacher, assessor, mine owner, and stone cutter. in Minersville, Beaver, Utah, United States. He died on 7 February 1899, in Lyman, Uinta, Wyoming, United States, at the age of 82, and was buried in Lyman City Cemetery, Lyman, Uinta, Wyoming, United States.
