She married Charles Coulson Rich on 6 January 1845, in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 4 daughters. She lived in Centerville, Davis, Utah, United States in 1860 and Planktown, Cass Township, Richland, Ohio, United States in 1870. She died on 17 April 1912, in Paris, Bear Lake, Idaho, United States, at the age of 82, and was buried in Paris, Bear Lake, Idaho, United States.

1830 · The Second Great Awakening

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations. Many people began to rapidly join the Baptist and Methodist congregations. Many converts to these religions believed that the Awakening was the precursor of a new millennial age.

1839 · Nauvoo is Settled

After the Saints had been chased out of Missouri they moved to a swampy area located next to the Mississippi River. Here they settled and named the place Nauvoo which translates into the city beautiful.
