She married Frands Christian Grundvig on 11 September 1857, in Trinitatis, Sokkelund, København, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. She lived in København, Denmark for about 15 years. She died on 22 September 1865, in Laramie, Albany, Wyoming, United States, at the age of 28, and was buried in Wyoming, United States.
