Maren Hansen was born on 8 August 1824, in Kalvehave, Kalvehave, Vordingborg, Denmark. She married Magnus Larsen on 23 July 1847, in Øster Egesborg, Præstø, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 8 daughters. She immigrated to United States in 1862 and lived in Kalvehave, Bårse, Præstø, Denmark in 1834 and Øster Egesborg, Bårse, Præstø, Denmark for about 10 years. She died on 6 May 1906, in Mendon, Cache, Utah, United States, at the age of 81, and was buried in Mendon, Cache, Utah, United States.
