Brief Life History of Andrew

Andrew Aagren was born on 19 June 1820, in Landskrona, Malmöhus, Sweden as the son of Sven Agren and Eva Charlotta Boklan. He married Anna Christina Lingreen on 25 February 1842, in Trinitatis, Copenhagen, Denmark. He lived in Moroni, Sanpete, Utah, United States in 1860 and Ephraim, Sanpete, Utah, United States in 1870. He died on 13 December 1911, in Montana, United States, at the age of 91.

1821 · Financial Relief for Public Land

A United States law to provide financial relief for the purchasers of Public Lands. It permitted the earlier buyers, that couldn't pay completely for the land, to return the land back to the government. This granted them a credit towards the debt they had on land. Congress, also, extended credit to buyer for eight more years. Still while being in economic panic and the shortage of currency made by citizens, the government hoped that with the time extension, the economy would improve.
