She married Peder Andersen on 8 April 1837, in Lynge, Alsted, Sorø, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 5 daughters. She immigrated to Utah, United States in 1865 and lived in Mårslet, Ning, Århus, Denmark in 1845 and Nordrupvester, Slagelse, Sorø, Denmark for about 10 years. She died in November 1865, in Wyoming, United States, at the age of 55, and was buried in Wyoming, United States.
