When Harriet Helga Sanders was born on 7 December 1824, in Tinn, Telemark, Norway, her father, Østen Sondresen, was 35 and her mother, Aase Olsdatter, was 30. She married Heber Chase Kimball on 26 January 1846, in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. She lived in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States for about 10 years. She died on 5 September 1896, in Meadowville, Rich, Utah, United States, at the age of 71, and was buried in Meadowville, Rich, Utah, United States.
