When Sarah Ann Pritchard was born on 29 November 1826, in Nelson, Portage, Ohio, United States, her father, John Prichard, was 28 and her mother, Polly Tillotson, was 22. She married Lorenzo Snow on 21 April 1845, in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in Brigham City, Box Elder, Utah, United States in 1860. She died on 2 December 1900, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 74, and was buried in Brigham City Cemetery, Brigham City, Box Elder, Utah, United States.

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations.
