Brief Life History of Niels

When Niels Pedersen was born on 9 March 1801, in Als, Hindsted, Ålborg, Denmark, his father, Peder Nielsen, was 36 and his mother, Maren Christensdatter, was 36. He married Johanne Pedersdatter on 5 November 1831, in Bælum, Ålborghus, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 6 daughters. He immigrated to Utah, United States in 1862 and lived in Næsborg, Slet, Ålborg, Denmark in 1834 and Skelund, Hindsted, Ålborg, Denmark for about 20 years. He died on 19 May 1888, in Ephraim, Sanpete, Utah, United States, at the age of 87, and was buried in Ephraim Pioneer Cemetery, Ephraim, Sanpete, Utah, United States.
