She married Samuel Bringhurst Sr on 12 April 1838, in Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States for about 10 years and Bluffdale, Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1880. She died on 29 July 1888, in Taylorsville, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 71, and was buried in Taylorsville Memorial Park Cemetery, Taylorsville, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.

1819 · Panic! of 1819

In the early morning of the final battle, the Mexican Army advanced on the Alamo. Quickly being overrun, the Texian Soldiers quickly withdrew inside the building. The battle has often been overshadowed by events from the Mexican–American War, But the Alamo gradually became known as a national battle site and later named an official Texas State Shrine.
