He immigrated to Utah, United States in 1861 and lived in Linn, Osage, Missouri, United States in 1860 and Payson, Utah, Utah, United States for about 10 years. He died on 5 May 1888, in Utah, Utah, United States, at the age of 70, and was buried in Payson City Cemetery, Payson, Utah, Utah, United States.
