He married Emma Hansdatter on 29 September 1866, in Ogden, Weber, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Norup, Lunde, Odense, Denmark in 1855 and Hjadstrup, Lunde, Odense, Denmark in 1860. He died on 5 February 1898, in Logan, Cache, Utah, United States, at the age of 71, and was buried in Logan Cemetery, Logan, Cache, Utah, United States.

1829 · Oldest Leather Goods in Denmark

Kuffert Sorensen was established in 1829 by Carl Peter Sorensen as a leather goods company. Today the business has five locations and each are run by a member of the Sorensen family.

1830 · The Second Great Awakening

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations.
