When Lorenzo H Eggertz was born on 8 September 1882, in Logan, Cache, Utah, United States, his father, Thomas Fredrick Eggertz, was 55 and his mother, Anna Christine Hansen, was 30. He married Olive Christoffersen on 12 February 1908. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. He lived in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1930 and Whittier Township, Los Angeles, California, United States in 1940. He died on 20 September 1949, in Solano, California, United States, at the age of 67.

1884 · Logan Temple Dedication
On May 17, 1884, the Logan temple was dedicated by John Taylor. It was the only temple dedicated by him and was the second temple in Utah. The temple went under a major reconstruction project in 1976 to increase the capacity of the rooms inside and was rededicated in 1979 by Spencer W. Kimball.
