When Elisabeth Rochon was born on 18 January 1836, in Inverso Pinasca, Turin, Piedmont, Italy, her father, Jean Michel Rochon, was 26 and her mother, Jeanne Chambon, was 28. She immigrated to Utah, United States in 1856 and lived in Salt Lake, Utah, United States for about 10 years. She died on 1 March 1891, in Union, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 55, and was buried in Union Fort Cemetery, Union, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.
