When David Avery Curtis was born on 11 August 1820, in Rutland Township, Tioga, Pennsylvania, United States, his father, Enos Curtis, was 36 and his mother, Ruth Franklin, was 29. He married Almira Starr on 20 October 1841, in Quincy, Adams, Illinois, United States. He lived in Fairview, Sanpete, Utah, United States in 1860. He died on 5 October 1885, in Aurora, Sevier, Utah, United States, at the age of 65, and was buried in Aurora Cemetery, Aurora, Sevier, Utah, United States.

1821 · Financial Relief for Public Land

A United States law to provide financial relief for the purchasers of Public Lands. It permitted the earlier buyers, that couldn't pay completely for the land, to return the land back to the government. This granted them a credit towards the debt they had on land. Congress, also, extended credit to buyer for eight more years. Still while being in economic panic and the shortage of currency made by citizens, the government hoped that with the time extension, the economy would improve.

1825 · Museum of Lancashire

The Museum of Lancashire is located in the former courthouse of Preston in Lancashire, England. The building was designed by Thomas Rickman. Some the exhibits include Lancashire through the years, at work, at play, goes to war, and law and order. All depict different times and events in Lancashire county. The museum closed in 2015 and is now only opened for scheduled appointments.
