He lived in Henry, Iowa, United States in 1860 and Ephraim, Sanpete, Utah, United States in 1860. He registered for military service in 1853. He died on 29 March 1905, in Spring City, Sanpete, Utah, United States, at the age of 80, and was buried in Spring City Cemetery, Spring City, Sanpete, Utah, United States.
