He immigrated to Liverpool, St. Helena, Louisiana, United States in 1855 and lived in Utah, United States in 1870. He died on 17 November 1892, in Nephi, Juab, Utah, United States, at the age of 88, and was buried in Nephi, Juab, Utah, United States.
