When Maria Larsdotter or Anderson was born on 19 June 1821, in Remmarlöf, Harjager, Malmöhus, Sweden, her father, Hans Maans Palsson, was 24 and her mother, Estred Larsdotter, was 23. She married Jens Michael Nielsen on 7 February 1851, in Frederiksberg, København, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 4 daughters. She lived in København, Denmark in 1860 and Utah, United States in 1870. She died on 14 November 1885, in Gunnison, Sanpete, Utah, United States, at the age of 64.

1825 · The Crimes Act
The Crimes Act was made to provide a clearer punishment of certain crimes against the United States. Part of it includes: Changing the maximum sentence of imprisonment to be increased from seven to ten years and changing the maximum fine from $5,000 to $10,000.
