He married Abby Jane Scott on 17 May 1898, in Oaxaca, Bavispe, Sonora, Mexico. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 9 daughters. He immigrated to Oaxaca, Bavispe, Sonora, Mexico in 1896 and lived in United States in 1949 and Maricopa, Arizona, United States in 1950. He died on 13 December 1967, in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona, United States, at the age of 89, and was buried in City of Mesa Cemetery, Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona, United States.
