Deseret News, The (Salt Lake City, UT) | 23 April 1997 Death: Elias Lemon Brinton Elias Lemon Brinton, 91, died 21 April 1997 of an extended illness. Born in Marion, Utah, son of Samuel LeRoy Brinton and Emma Jane Lemon. Married Maude Patterson, 22 May 1929 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death 3 March 1969. Married Mignon Astle, 18 June 1971. Devoted active member of LDS Church. Survived by wife; children, Dr. Lyle P. Brinton; Beverly B. White; Sherry Brinton; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne; sisters, Irma, Joan and Eugenia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 26 April 1997 at 12 noon at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 So.
