When David Snyder Haight was born on 5 June 1848, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, his father, Isaac Chauncey Haight, was 35 and his mother, Eliza Ann Snyder, was 32. He married Charlotte Jane Higbee on 31 December 1873, in Toquerville, Washington, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 4 daughters. He immigrated to World in 1887. He died on 20 December 1916, in Cedar City, Iron, Utah, United States, at the age of 68, and was buried in Cedar City Cemetery, Cedar City, Iron, Utah, United States.
