He married Eliza Ann Andrews on 23 November 1874, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 6 daughters. He lived in Fremont, Idaho, United States in 1900 and Rexburg, Fremont, Idaho, United States in 1910. He registered for military service in 66. He died on 28 April 1934, in Rexburg, Madison, Idaho, United States, at the age of 90, and was buried in Provo City Cemetery, Provo, Utah, Utah, United States.
