The Life of Howard Winter

When Howard Winter Taylor was born on 1 April 1921, his father, Schuyler Patterson Taylor, was 44 and his mother, Ane Kjerstine Christine Winter, was 33. He married Myrtle Warner on 4 June 1945. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He registered for military service in 1942. He died on 30 January 2001, at the age of 79.

1922 · Timpanogos Cave National Monument

Timpanogos Cave National Monument is a United States National Monument protecting the Timpanogos Cave Historic District and a cave system on Mount Timpanogos. There are three caves in the cave system, one of which is specifically called Timpanogos Cave but the caves are only viewable on guided tours when the monument is open.

Caused by the tensions between the United States and the Empire of Japan, the internment of Japanese Americans caused many to be forced out of their homes and forcibly relocated into concentration camps in the western states. More than 110,000 Japanese Americans were forced into these camps in fear that some of them were spies for Japan.
