When Horace Hollingworth was born on 25 November 1874, in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom, his father, Job Hollingworth, was 39 and his mother, Lucy Hatton, was 31. He married Camilla Naomi Lane on 25 June 1902, in Salt Lake, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 4 daughters. He immigrated to San Francisco, California, United States in 1939 and lived in Minidoka, Idaho, United States in 1930 and United States in 1949. He died on 26 September 1958, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.

1887 · New Zealands's First National Park
Tongariro National Park was the sixth national park established in the world and the first in New Zealand. After three prior attempts to become a state, the United States Congress accepted Utah into the Union on one condition, that all forms of polygamy were to be banned. The territory agreed, and Utah became a state on January 4, 1896.
