When Orville Rudeen Allred was born on 10 November 1917, in Afton, Lincoln, Wyoming, United States, his father, Seymour Bert Allred, was 36 and his mother, Mary Ellen Child, was 36. He married Irene Carter on 17 June 1941, in St. George, Washington, Utah, United States. He immigrated to World in 1940 and lived in Twin Falls, Twin Falls, Idaho, United States in 1920 and United States in 1949. He died on 31 December 1994, in Ogden, Weber, Utah, United States, at the age of 77, and was buried in Washington Heights Memorial Park, South Ogden, Weber, Utah, United States.

1918 · Attempting to Stop the War
To end World War I, President Wilson created a list of principles to be used as negotiations for peace among the nations. Known as The Fourteen Points, the principles were outlined in a speech on war aimed toward the idea of peace but most of the Allied forces were skeptical of this Wilsonian idealism.

1938 · The DI is Opened To The Public
Deseret Industries is a non-profit organization and a division of Welfare Services of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It includes a chain of retail thrift stores and work projects. Many of the items sold are second hand or never used. Such items include furniture, appliances, computers, and clothing. The DI also sells new furniture, much of it received directly from its own manufacturing plant in Salt Lake City. The DI provides job skill training for the physically, emotionally and socially challenged and seeks to place them into private sector employment.
