When Christian Andersen was born on 23 September 1864, in Ranum, Slet, Ålborg, Denmark, his father, Anders Christensen, was 36 and his mother, Maren Pedersdatter, was 24. He married Ida Mellicent Williams on 29 June 1898, in Manti Utah Temple, Manti, Sanpete, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. He immigrated to United States in 1894 and lived in Joseph, Sevier, Utah, United States in 1900 and Monroe, Sevier, Utah, United States for about 20 years. He died on 29 March 1932, in Marysvale, Piute, Utah, United States, at the age of 67, and was buried in Monroe, Sevier, Utah, United States.
