He immigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1909 and lived in Lewiston, Cache, Utah, United States in 1950. He died on 8 July 1968, in Clinton, Davis, Utah, United States, at the age of 84, and was buried in Lewiston City Cemetery, Lewiston, Cache, Utah, United States.
